The only change I made was halved the amount of cocoa powder because otherwise it’s a little too bitter for me (I am a milk chocolate sweet girl) but other than that followed it just as written! Craving satisfied 😍

You get a moment of feeling good because it feels like you just did something good — but later on you realize nothing was fixed. - You overeat largely because of stress — stress that comes in all forms. You may use food to patch holes. Even if it doesn’t seem like it. - You eat the food for convenience because meal prep didn’t happen. Meal prep’s a borderline necessity unless you’re very savvy about getting food on the go or accept paying high prices for quality and convenience. - Extremes? Sometimes you’re trying too hard. And extremes are a plea to make things happen faster — which may stem from stress but also cause more of it. - And then you overeat after. Not that eating less isn’t the answer if you’re overweight — just that eating less combined with patience is. - And failure? Like you fell off the plan? You aren’t gonna get anywhere without running into plenty of it — just make sure you seek help if you continue to make the same mistakes over and over. - And stop being so hard on yourself and work to make this a more reasonable priority in your life. The benefits are too obvious and proven to continue to fall in and out because a little gust of wind pushed at you. - Always keep going. Thoughts so far? - 🦁Done is absolutely better than perfect. - 🐸I think too many times we strive for perfection. We'd make a plan, and expect ourselves to follow it through to the exact letter. When actions start to stray, and results start to portray the actions, we quit. That's recipe number 1 for giving up, restarting, and "that didn't work so lets try something else". - 🐨I think we're less special that we'd like to think. At least I feel that way. Too many times I feel "nahh this doesn't work for me, cos [insert excuse]. But for everyone else it does." But in reality is I didn't put the same amount of work , didn't put in the same amount of time than everyone else. Tried it for a few days, saw zero results, and gave up to try something else. - 🏀It's like heading to the basketball courts, shooting hoops for 1-2 months and feeling down, "How come I can't shoot like Kobe?" It'd almost be an insult to Kobe if we achieved what he did in 1-2 months. - 🏹This first month of the weight cut has been far from perfect, but I'm absolutely thrilled I stuck through. I've learned a lot, and feel my experience and knowledge on it has grown. Definitely wasn't time wasted.
