periodfashion Thank you so much for 50k, guys! It means so much. There’s been times I’ve wanted to quit and let the negativity get to me, but I now I have no regrets about keeping this account running. 💗

periodfashion Ka’iulani, Crown Princess of the Hawaiian Islands. Born in 1875 on the island of Honolulu to a Hawaiian princess and Scottish-born financier, Princess Victoria Ka’iulani was heiress to the throne of her aunt, Queen Liliuokalani. After the overthrow of the monarchy in 1893, she traveled to the United States as an advocate for its restoration. The princess actively voiced her concerns for the injustices committed against her people by the US government. Tragically, Princess Ka’iulani died at the age of 23 from an inflammatory disease, before she could marry her fiancé, Prince David Kawananaoka.
