katiecrunchfit Part of having a HEALTHY and BALANCED relationship with food is enjoying new foods and not restricting your diet and not feeling guilty for eating "unhealthy" or "indulgent" foods. In my own experience I would restrict restrict restrict and then end up bingeing, even reaching for foods I didn't even like, just to be eating something. This was especially true when I went on vacation. -I used to restrict so much on vacation that I would turn down trying new foods and stick to only "clean" foods. Then once I got a taste of something, usually a dessert, it was like a beast had been unleashed and I would be ridden with guilt because of it. -This past weekend I went to Pittsburgh and it was a different story, thankfully! I tried LOTS of delicious new food (including croissant French toast!!) and didn't feel one ounce of guilt. I truly enjoyed every bite and didn't feel the need to compensate by working out or restricting to make up for it. This is all because I have worked extremely hard to find a balance. I can enjoy a cookie without feeling guilty. I can have some ice cream without bingeing on the whole box ( although this is still something I'm working on). -I've made tremendous progress in my journey and I'm so proud of that! Life shouldn't be ruled by your diet and you shouldn't feel like food runs your life. Food is to be enjoyed, not feared. Happy Monday ❤️

allison_renee_wellness Just hanging with my BFF - my to-do list! 😆 I definitely thrive on planning and organization, it's the only way I can manage my full-time job, my virtual coaching business, my own personal and professional goals, and the rest of my life! It helps me a TON to create a daily to-do list as soon as I get to work. I also have weekly and monthly check-lists to keep track of everything. If I don't get to everything on the list, before I leave for the day I will create my to-do list for the next day. That way I already have the priorities organized for when I get in! Keeping everything structured physically helps me mentally de-clutter and helps me think more clearly! Who else is a list lover like me?! 🙋🏼

sarahboyland_1993 Think this probably describes today's leg session incorporating heavy sets and various rep ranges followed by a brutal 8 rounds on the prowler. dr_terry_ Wanted to share this recipe for an Asian Salad we made for our son's birthday party over the weekend. Light and yummy - it went down a treat. _ ✅Chop your favourite vegetables in thin slices (we used cucumber, carrots, red and yellow pepper for a mixed of colour) ✅ Add in chopped fresh coriander ✅ Toss in an Asian dressing (we used 2 part soy sauce, 1 part tamari, 1 part sesame oil, 1 part white rice vinegar, 1 part honey, salt and pepper to taste). You can also add some chilli 🌶 flakes for an extra kick. ✅ Toast some sesame seeds in a pan and sprinkle over before serving Enjoy. losing.it.for.me 19 weeks pregnant and staying healthy and strong. When I found out I was pregnant, I promised myself to continue my healthy lifestyle for my sake and the baby's. I've kept the same 80/20 balanced lifestyle(most of the time) and I'm proud. I have gained 1 lb and I'm almost half way to the finish line. Pregnancy is temporary and I refuse to undo all the hard work that took me years to achieve. So for those that don't understand why I cycle, why I lift weights and more during pregnancy, please educate yourselves. It's healthy for ME because my body was already accustomed to it. britt_fit22 (Swipe👉🏼) Yesterday was a good day☺️ Started out with a lighter/higher rep leg workout on the Smith Machine(easing back into training legs) and 30min cardio. Went home and ate breakfast then went and did a shoulder and arm lift with bands and dumbbells then a sauna sesh. Post workout was some amazing sushi. Ended the day with a walk to get ice cream. #flexibledieting takes the worry out of eating those "cheat foods" because allowing yourself those treat foods in a controlled way helps prevent future binging. It takes the guilt out of not eating "perfect" which a lot of people struggle with. spagirlkris For a while there I had SPIRULINA everyday. I felt amazing, had boundless energy and never got sick. But I just got sick of the dreadful taste and stopped taking it. Then the wonderful @linasaber showed me how to get it back in my diet and taste great... Spirulina SMOOTHIE bowls! Kicking the week off with my simple clean go to breakfast. @vitalfarms eggs, a slice of @pedersonsfarms sugar free bacon, all on a grain free @sietefoods tortilla, with a little bit of dairy free @kitehillfoods chive cream cheese. Full of protein to keep me full and all real foods. Maybe the best part is it only takes only 10 minutes to make!
