jessthewinosaur I remember looking forward to these holiday weekends all year long (except when I had to work #hospitallife). These days I still look forward to them, but not in a sense of "hell yeah 4 days of freedom" but in a "hell yeah more time with friends" 💃🏼🙌🏽 It still amazes me that I'm my own boss and every day feels like that weekend freedom feeling. 👏🏽 if you're ready for that and you've been creeping 👀 for a while on me, this is LEGIT. I spent my afternoon after working at my full time job, researching + learning ways to be a better (more efficient coach) for my 2nd job as a health and fitness mentor. I got frustrated, I wished it was easier and less time consuming. But then I started thinking: how sweet accomplishment would be if it wasn't backed by hard work and sacrifice? Probably not very. So I'll work even when I'm tired and frustrated because I know how amazing it will feel when I reach my goals. Don't wish it to be easier, work to be better 🙌🏻

atrusnovecfit Hey fam! I finally made it to SLC after a long day of packing, errands, and lots of driving. 😴 I was so excited to start my road trip I couldn't even sleep in this morning. My silly self was wide awake by 4:30 am 🙈 so I just jumped out of bed and decided to kill my last workout in my favorite little gym. • • I know, I know. I just trained legs on Wednesday. I usually like have at least two days to recover between leg days (aka I would be training them tomorrow) BUT I'm working out at the hotel fitness center in the morning and they don't have what I need for my leggies. 🤷🏽‍♀️ So whatevs I switched up my routine and still had a good sesh this morning. • • Hope y'all are having an amazing Friday! I'll keep ya updated on our road trip adventures. ☺️ T-16 hours until I'm reunited with my forever best friend!! 💕

I'm planning a 12 mile training walk tomorrow and it's recommended to start hydrating a couple days before. I learned this when my kiddos ran Crosscountry in HS! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️ . So today is multiple containers of water with me everywhere I go! Here's to hydration! 💦💦💦

thefitmomsplan The best diet for fat loss? The best diet for achieving muscle gains? The best diet to do both?? 🤔 • • My answer to the moms that ask me that? The diet that you can stick to. The one that doesn't leave you tired, hungry, irritable. The one that you can follow without a huge interference into your busy mom life. That doesn't leave you unable to go out or enjoy foods. The one where you can still eat with the kids • • It will be different for everyone but personally I've learnt a lot about my nutrition and what works for me through IIFYM (if it fits your macros). It has helped me to crack through plateaus in the past, see fat loss and muscle gains. I also find it's sustainable because you can work it to include the foods you like. • • The downside to #iifym... counting and tracking your macros. It was the tracking that put me off for a long time. BUT it does get easier! 🙂🙌🏻 And you don't have to always track. If you can stick to it longer term by having the occasional day where you don't track that is ok. Through IIFYM you will gain a better idea of portion sizes, how much you should be eating of your different macros and what macros foods give you. • • Diet fatigue is also a real thing so if you need some time off after a long period of tracking take it. Just remember/be sure to get back on it! 🙂 • • The Fit Moms Monthly Plan includes a portal full of information on counting calories/macros, calculating your macros, how to track your macros and, if you want to take it to the next level, carb cycling. trishandnikki Truthfully haven't been to the gym in almost a month. Prior to that I was traveling and before that can't say I was being good either. Fell off the wagon hard. Eating too much junk, compensating by not eating enough in a day cause I felt guilty and not moving around. Going to use this to keep myself accountable for the next month.

It started off with me wearing my headphones, in the dark, streaming the workout from my phone while he was sleeping. It ended with him playing with his cars under my feet, amused watching me try not to trip over them. 😂😂 The conditions weren't ideal but that's ok because done is always better than perfect. . thrivinglifestyle LETS FACE IT Chicken Rice and Vegetables is boring and depressing ...but for some reason I always come back to it. Maybe because it's simple? Maybe because I know it's going to give me results? Maybe because it will make my body feel good? For whatever reason that I keep coming back to this boring meal the one thing I try to do is give the chicken extra flavor so it's not as lame as it already is👌🏼 SIMPLE Pesto Mozzarella Chicken INGREDIENTS ▫️Chicken breast ▫️Shredded mozzarella cheese ▫️Pesto and Quinoa- picture in post. I like this Pesto because it's lower in fat than most🤘🏼-Got at Trader Joe's DIRECTIONS Set oven to 350 degrees and spray a semi deep pan with non stick spray. Rinse chicken, gently shake to dry and place the chicken in your pan. Once the oven is preheated place your pan of chicken in the oven. Cook time around 30 minutes. Half way through cook time take chicken out and spread 2 tablespoons of pesto onto each chicken breast and place back in the oven. Once full time of cooking is up take the chicken out and immediately sprinkle mozzarella cheese over each chicken breast. These easy, tasty & healthy muffins are Coco approved ✔️ DIRECTIONS: Preheat the oven to 350 • Scoop out the inside of the avocados and mash or puree in a blender.
